A few notes before moving on to the nitty-gritty:
First:
It is absolutely bonkers out there in the world right now, and I genuinely paused to reconsider saying “happy” Pride month. Is it inconsiderate to say “happy” Pride month when people are almost certainly not having a happy Pride month? Is it ignoring the reality of what’s happening in places like Florida? But: you know what? It’s not an empty sentiment. It’s a genuine hope for us all.
Secondly:
Friendly reminder—or unfriendly, depending on what sort of person you are—that this is, has ALWAYS been, and will continue to be an LGBTQ+ positive space.
